Principal Engineer-Product/Test (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, cost-effective ATE test programs for package and wafer testing.
• Collaborate with design teams on ATPG vector generation and define test methods optimized for test cost and coverage.
• Design test hardware, including probe cards, DUT boards, and burn-in boards, and develop universal test methods across products.
• Perform characterization across split lots and statistical analysis correlating laboratory, ATE, and datasheet data.
• Define reliability test requirements with product reliability engineers and support product and package qualification.
• Support new product introduction, high-volume manufacturing deployment, manufacturing operations, and low-yield investigations while improving yields and reducing test time.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Microelectronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering fields are preferred.
• Good understanding of ATE for quality and reliability testing and semiconductor test methodologies.
• Strong scripting and programming skills.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn and develop.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to meet schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advantest V93K.
• Experience using C, C++, UNIX, Linux, Perl, or Python.
