Principal Engineer-Product/Test (Semiconductor Test)

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, cost-effective ATE test programs for packaged and wafer-form semiconductor products.
• Generate ATPG vectors and collaborate with design teams on test methods optimized for coverage and cost.
• Design test hardware, including probe cards, DUT boards, and burn-in boards.
• Perform characterization across split lots and analyze correlations between laboratory, ATE, and datasheet data.
• Support new product introduction, high-volume manufacturing deployment, and production troubleshooting with operations and engineering teams.
• Improve yields and reduce test time while defining reliability and package qualification requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Good understanding of ATE for quality and reliability testing and semiconductor test methodologies.
• Strong scripting and programming skills; experience with C, C++, UNIX, Linux, Perl, or Python is advantageous.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits.
• Analytical problem-solving ability, strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to meet schedules.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advantest 93k ATE.
