Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Dallas, Texas; on-site. The role requires up to 50% domestic travel to supplier sites and hirify.global program locations.

What you will do

• Manage sourcing, subcontracting, supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and supplier performance for Hivemind programs.
• Develop and manage Statements of Work, deliverables, milestones, schedules, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements with Engineering and Program Management.
• Oversee subcontractors delivering engineering, technical development, integration, manufacturing, and testing activities.
• Track supplier milestones, risks, issues, quality, schedules, and performance while driving program execution.
• Negotiate pricing, payment milestones, contract structures, and commercial terms across fixed-price, time-and-materials, milestone-based, and cost-reimbursable agreements.
• Maintain procurement records in Deltek Costpoint, support supplier onboarding and compliance, and improve sourcing and supplier-management processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, subcontracts, supplier management, or program-facing procurement.
• Experience managing SOW-based engineering, technical development, manufacturing, or integration suppliers.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing, schedules, deliverables, and contractual terms.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and program leadership, manage complex priorities, and resolve supplier issues with minimal oversight.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% and work on-site in Dallas, Texas.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Deltek Costpoint, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, autonomy, robotics, or high-technology industries.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and defense subcontracting practices.
• Experience with engineering services, software, hardware integration, advanced manufacturing, supplier readiness, manufacturing readiness, or integration and test activities.
• Experience with government-funded or defense-related programs and gated execution models.
• PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or a related certification.
