Software Engineer, New Grad (Java/Go)

Location: Denver, CO; hybrid

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, implement, and ship software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Build features for hirify.global Gotham, Apollo, or Foundry.
• Develop backend services, frontend applications, and release infrastructure with small product-focused teams.
• Work directly with customers and users to understand operational problems and build effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Product Reliability Engineers, and business development teams.
• Take ownership of projects from initial ideas through delivery while working with a dedicated mentor.

Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and related technical tools.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical colleagues.
• Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask effective questions.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, TypeScript, React, Redux, Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch, Gradle, or GitHub.
