Power BI Analyst/ Developer (Finance Analytics)

What you will do

• Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable Power BI solutions.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for orders, revenue, shipments, backlog, P&L, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Build and optimize data models, relationships, calculated columns, and DAX measures.
• Integrate data from SAP ECC, SAP HANA, Snowflake, Fabric, Excel, and SQL databases.
• Develop automated and standardized reporting frameworks while improving query, refresh, and model performance.
• Provide executive dashboards, user training, documentation, data validation, and reconciliation with source systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer applications.
• 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics.
• Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including data modeling, Power Query, advanced DAX, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel, including Power Query.
• Experience building enterprise dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finance analytics and financial data such as revenue, orders, and P&L.
• Exposure to Fabric, Azure, or Lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of Spotfire, Tableau, or other BI tools.
