Strategic Sourcing Manager (R4766)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $105,000–$140,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronics and electromechanical components, including PCBAs, harnesses, connectors, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Manage supplier category roadmaps, supplier qualification, development, performance reviews, and long-term agreements.
• Lead make-vs-buy decisions, cost modeling, benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, finance, legal, and program teams throughout product development and production.
• Manage supply continuity, single-source risk, business continuity planning, and material readiness.
• Develop and mentor a sourcing team while establishing sourcing metrics, governance, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management focused on electronics, PCBA, electromechanical, or mechanical commodities.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• Proven success in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and long-term contract management.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, harness production, or relevant mechanical commodity processes.
• Strong communication, influencing, business analysis, and cross-functional leadership skills.
