Quality Coordinator (Laboratory Quality Management)

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, control, and continuously improve the ISO 17025 Quality Management System.
• Plan inspections, support internal audits, and maintain readiness for external assessments.
• Register and investigate incident reports, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and remedial actions through closure.
• Coordinate proficiency testing, evaluate QA/QC charts, and identify actions to reduce outliers and biased results.
• Maintain quality procedures, documentation changes, training matrices, and management review activities.
• Report QC status daily and compile monthly quality system reports for the Business Manager.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Quality Management or Chemistry, or equivalent laboratory experience recognized through prior learning.
• At least 3 years of experience in Analytical Services; coal services experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025 and laboratory Quality Management Systems.
• Full familiarity with LIMS systems.
• Knowledge of internal auditing, coordination, management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
