Manager, Market Performance (Healthcare Operations)

Location: NC - Remote

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze market operations, member utilization patterns, and the care model to identify opportunities to shift care toward lower-cost preventive measures and improve efficiency.
• Oversee daily market workflows, including hospital discharge follow-ups, HEDIS outreach, member engagement, and provider scheduling.
• Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs, identify workflow bottlenecks, and implement immediate tactical fixes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate between frontline staff, market leadership, and central teams to escalate and resolve barriers to care.
• Coach team members, promote psychological safety and feedback, and support career development.
• Lead operational changes and new project rollouts with a solutions-oriented approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic management, or a related service-oriented field.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience or leadership of a significant functional workstream.
• Familiarity with healthcare metrics such as patient engagement rates and appointment keep rates.
• Strong ability to solve tactical operational challenges and improve team efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
