Manager, Field Reimbursement Services (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the USA, based in Texas; travel required 60–80% (3–4 days per week) by automobile or plane.

Base pay: $87,500–$145,800 annually, plus potential bonus or long-term incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, evaluate, and develop a nationwide team of remote field reimbursement managers.
• Manage day-to-day field reimbursement program operations, including staffing, profitability, procedures, process design, implementation, and improvement.
• Coordinate communication between field teams, home-office operations, McKesson functions, and pharmaceutical client stakeholders.
• Monitor SLA performance, privacy, compliance, activity reporting, and contractual commitments.
• Partner with the client’s Head of Reimbursement Operations on strategic initiatives, reporting, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Deliver training, development opportunities, project execution, and in-person ride-a-longs with team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of reimbursement experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing field-based teams; field reimbursement team management is strongly preferred.
• Account or client management experience, preferably in pharmacy or healthcare.
• Direct communication experience with pharmaceutical clients or stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record/MVR and ability to travel 60–80% required.
