Pay range: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support primary care physicians and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures under provider direction.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical record requests, coordinate referrals, and arrange specialist visits.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results through approved channels.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and participate in patient outreach and care-gap initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration in states where it is not mandatory.
