Product Manager (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $129,000–$183,000 USD per year, plus potential discretionary annual variable incentive.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, feature design, roadmap, data model, dashboards, and healthcare use-case packages for Health Insight.
• Serve as product owner for an Agile development team and coordinate with development, implementation, testing, support, sales, and field engineering.
• Engage health systems, payers, and health information exchanges to identify analytics needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Represent customer needs in the design of clinical and claims analytics, dashboards, notifications, and population health capabilities.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on value-based care, quality measures, risk adjustment, regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry trends.
• Participate in studies and professional events focused on healthcare analytics, interoperability, clinical quality, cost, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of product management experience, preferably with healthcare data or analytics products.
• In-depth experience with application or data model design and bringing healthcare data or analytics products to completion.
• Experience gathering and refining product needs with customers and stakeholders throughout product development.
• Experience with clinical and claims data analytics, population health management, quality measurement, risk adjustment, care gap identification, and value-based care.
• Knowledge of clinical and claims data standards such as HL7, CDA, FHIR, X12, OMOP, and OpenEHR; familiarity with SQL, BI/reporting tools, and healthcare quality measure frameworks is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health, technical, or business field, or comparable experience; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, MPH, MHA, or a similar advanced degree.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI/reporting tools, HEDIS, CQM, and Star Ratings.
