General Manager, Re:Build AppliedLogix (Embedded Systems)

Location: United States; based in Rochester, New York. Willingness to travel as needed is required.

Salary: $192,294–$288,441 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the AppliedLogix business across program management, engineering, sales and marketing, finance, human resources, and support functions.
• Own the P&L, budgets, financial plans, capacity planning, business KPIs, and sales, income, and cash-flow targets.
• Drive operational performance across the proposal-to-delivery lifecycle and improve engineering and development processes.
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering and business team while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Support customer engagements, business development, selling activities, and revenue generation across hirify.global operations.
• Collaborate across hirify.global businesses and apply Lean principles, AI, and emerging technologies to improve functionality, quality, efficiency, and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA or MS in Engineering is preferred.
• 15+ years of product design and development experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Prior P&L ownership and strong strategic, financial, analytical, and commercial skills.
• Experience leading engineering teams, managing customer relationships, and working across finance, engineering, sales, production, and quality functions.
• Track record of transformational leadership, capability expansion, operational improvement, and business growth.
• Strong communication, coaching, relationship-building, creative problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering embedded systems and controls through design services.
• Experience with Lean operating principles, methods, and tools.
• Advanced degree in business or engineering.
