Desktop Support Technician

Location: On-site in Wahiawa, Hawaii, USA

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide end-user and technical support for desktop hardware, software, operating systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux systems and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Respond to support tickets and collaborate with IT teams to resolve or escalate complex issues.
• Maintain hardware inventory, software license records, and on-site device assets.
• Perform software updates, system backups, routine maintenance, and end-user education.

Requirements

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or an equivalent DoD baseline certification.
• At least 6 years of experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, PCs, and other devices.
• Security clearance required; an interim level is acceptable.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• IT education is preferred.
