Network Systems Technician

Location: On-site in Santa Clara, California, United States; must be local and able to provide on-site support.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Support and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switches, access points, firewalls, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across endpoints, conference rooms, labs, and office environments.
• Assist with DNS, DHCP, VLAN, IP addressing, VPN, and secure remote access configuration.
• Provision and maintain macOS, Ubuntu/Linux, and Windows endpoints, peripherals, and user access platforms.
• Support A/V systems, meetings, presentations, company events, and on-site IT operations.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, security controls, backups, monitoring, documentation, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in network technology, IT support, systems support, or a similar role.
• Networking or IT certification such as CompTIA Network+, A+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure, endpoint connectivity, A/V systems, and on-site IT environments.
• Working knowledge of macOS, Ubuntu/Linux, and Windows.
• Must be a U.S. Person under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) and local to Santa Clara, California.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware or basic virtualization concepts.
• Familiarity with NIST, DOE, export controls, or other compliance-driven environments.
• Experience with scripting or automation for IT and network operations.
