Technical Pre-Sales Specialist

Location: Hybrid work in Prague, Czech Republic; Berlin, Germany; or Vienna, Austria

Veloq is a standalone software platform built from hirify.global Group’s grocery fulfilment technology, covering automated picking, e-commerce fulfilment, and last-mile logistics for grocers.

What you will do

• Own the full pre-sales cycle, including technical discovery, tailored product demos, solution scoping, and enterprise deal progression.
• Design solution architectures that connect the platform to customers’ warehouse operations.
• Define measurable, time-boxed proof-of-concept scopes and lead technical qualification.
• Prepare and respond to enterprise RFIs and RFPs and address technical objections live.
• Translate technical complexity into commercial value through ROI, payback, and operational impact analysis.
• Track opportunities in the CRM and provide customer, integration, competitive, and product-gap feedback.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales within enterprise SaaS, WMS, or warehouse automation.
• Hands-on familiarity with at least one WMS platform, such as Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Korber, or an equivalent system.
• Ability to run tailored product demos without a script and handle technical objections in real time.
• Experience independently owning a pipeline and communicating with operational and technical buyers, including COOs, VPs of Operations, CTOs, IT teams, and integrators.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing experience in WMS or supply chain technology.
• Ability to read API documentation, write basic SQL, or configure third-party integrations.
• Experience with warehouse robotics, automated picking, or e-commerce fulfilment technology.
• German, Dutch, or French language skills.
• Experience at a startup or scale-up with fewer than 100 employees.
