Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor (Semiconductor)

Location: Burlington or Ottawa, Canada

Salary: CAD $86,520–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition creation through offer acceptance.
• Support hiring needs across the US, Canada, Mexico, and parts of Europe.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for specialized technical roles.
• Partner with business leaders, staffing stakeholders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to develop hiring solutions.
• Build qualified talent pipelines through job boards, networking, social media, recruitment events, and academic and industry relationships.
• Track recruitment metrics, maintain ATS records, and provide hiring progress updates and strategic talent insights.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industry.
• Experience recruiting hardware and software engineers, analog and digital design engineers, high-speed test engineers, and other niche technical specialists.
• Understanding of microelectronics, IC design, chip development, and semiconductor industry roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, specialized job boards, ATS platforms, and resume databases.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple openings independently in a fast-paced environment.
