Senior Engineer II-Quality (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite, 100% inside during normal business hours

What you will do

• Support customers reactively and proactively, focusing on quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
• Organize, write, and present technical reports, including 8D reports and presentations, for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track failure-analysis requests and communicate status updates to field engineers and customers.
• Support key accounts and address environmental, reliability, quality, and product requirements internally.
• Participate in and initiate benchmarking programs to identify best-in-class performance.
• Participate in business and quality reviews and customer meetings.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of industry or position experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Application- or system-level technical expertise and a structured, organized approach.
• Ability to work sensitively with globally and culturally diverse personnel.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as required; expected travel is 0%–25%.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience and knowledge of wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, or failure-analysis laboratories.
• Statistical knowledge, including capability analysis, distributions, and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of 8D and similar quality problem-solving approaches.
• Familiarity with automotive and aerospace industries and standards, including AS9100, IATF-16949, and PPAP.
