Bilingual (English/French) Associate Director, Retail Analytics

Location: Greater Toronto or Montreal area, Canada; local in-person client meetings and travel within Canada required

Salary: 98,000–115,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic client engagements across a portfolio of retail accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and advise on merchandising, pricing, promotion, assortment, and category management.
• Present analytical insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior audiences.
• Collaborate on advanced analytical studies and strategic consulting engagements.
• Guide teams in developing integrated analyses, insights, and client-focused storytelling.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, Implementation, Data Science, and Customer Success teams to improve client outcomes and support solution innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Retail, CPG, Retail Analytics, Market Research, or a related industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; French communication is required within Québec.
• Strong analytical, commercial, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Experience managing complex projects, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving client retention and growth.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, business intelligence tools, and experience with Nielsehirify.global solutions, retail measurement data, SQL, Databricks, Python, or other analytical programming tools.
