Senior Allocation Analyst (Retail)

Location: Toronto, Ontario; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: CAD 70,000–90,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Own door-level and fleet performance analysis across sell-through, rate of sale, weeks of supply, in-stock rate, productivity, category, style, and price point.
• Build store clusters, tiers, model-stock targets, and assortment productivity views to inform merchandising decisions.
• Diagnose out-of-stocks and lost sales, quantify demand-transfer and revenue impact, and prioritize replenishment, rebalancing, and inter-store transfers.
• Manage initial allocations, replenishment, new-product launches, new-store opening buys, clearance transitions, and discontinued-product flow-through.
• Balance inventory across stores, web, distribution centers, and concessions while accounting for market requirements across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
• Build scalable allocation tools and reporting, maintain master data and system hygiene, communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders, and mentor junior planners.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning, or inventory analysis in a fast-paced, multi-door retail environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and fluency in, or ability to quickly learn, SQL and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Omni.
• Strong understanding of sell-through, rate of sale, weeks of supply, in-stock rate, and inventory turn.
• Experience maintaining allocation master data, parameters, files, and data-integrity processes.
• Diagnostic analytical thinking, clear communication with senior stakeholders, and ability to create structure and scalable processes.
• Retail, fashion, or jewelry experience is an asset; curiosity about AI-assisted modeling and analytics is expected.
