EHS Environmental Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety programs for the manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations covering air, water, and hazardous waste.
• Manage the ISO 14001 program and support compliance with corporate standards.
• Track sustainability data and prepare environmental reports.
• Lead environmental performance improvements and waste reduction initiatives.
• Participate in or lead routine inspections and EHS audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in environmental engineering or EHS within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act requirements.
• Experience with environmental permitting, TRI reporting, air emissions, wastewater, and compliance auditing.
• Demonstrated experience in hazardous waste management and chemical handling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics or a similar industry.
• Process Safety Management experience.
• CHMM or a similar certification.
