Staff Test Engineer (Advantest V93000)

Location: Bristol hirify.global Design Centre, Bradley Stoke, United Kingdom; on-site four days per week, Monday–Thursday

What you will do

• Develop and implement wafer- and package-level test solutions on the Advantest V93000 platform, including hardware and software.
• Collaborate with design, product engineering, validation, test, and applications teams to evaluate new IC designs and provide structured ATE feedback.
• Support analog and digital Design for Test implementation, ATE characterisation, reliability screening, and device qualification.
• Deploy test solutions to offshore OSAT manufacturing sites and support production ramp-up.
• Lead or participate in test review meetings and coordinate delivery with project stakeholders and external hardware vendors.
• Optimise test solutions to improve yield, reduce test time, and increase manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor ATE testing.
• Strong background in high-speed mixed-signal IC testing and experience supporting offshore test or production environments.
• Experience with the Advantest V93000 platform.
• Understanding of high-speed PCB design and schematic development.
• Ability to manage multiple product-lifecycle projects, meet aggressive timelines, and produce clear technical reports and updates.
