What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for device software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define testable architectures and drive quality through code.
• Implement advanced test automation strategies for embedded, edge, and device-integrated systems.
• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for service APIs, WebUI, and OTA updates.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.
• Validate device performance, connectivity, and stability under real-world operating conditions.

Requirements

• Must be able to commute to the London-based office 3-5 days per week.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software automation and test development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or equivalent for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Espresso.
• Experience testing embedded or connected hardware devices, including Android or Linux-based systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and device connectivity (USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
• Familiarity with medical device standards such as IEC 62304.
• Experience with video streaming or imaging devices.
