Continuous Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead continuous and step-change improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities through data analysis, process mapping, time and motion studies, and value stream mapping.
• Create Power BI dashboards and JMP scripts to query, analyze, and visualize operational data.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production and quality issues.
• Optimize production layouts, material handling, staffing levels, standard work, and operating procedures.
• Lead Kaizen events and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing, reliability, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI and/or JMP scripting.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize work, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead through influence while working hands-on with operators, technicians, and engineers.

Nice to have

• Green Belt project leader certification.
• Relevant Lean practitioner certification.
