Continuous Improvement Specialist II, Industrial Engineering

Location: Onsite in Boca Raton, Florida, 5 days per week, with occasional travel 3–4 times per year. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $69,820–$82,142 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end business process analysis using Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, and related continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage moderate-scope improvement initiatives and recommend sustainable, data-driven solutions that improve safety, quality, service, cost, and engagement.
• Plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops, coordinate cross-functional participation, and document outcomes, controls, standard work, SOPs, and process requirements.
• Define KPIs and performance frameworks; analyze operational and financial data, capacity, productivity, workflow, and cycle times.
• Prepare dashboards, business cases, ROI estimates, analyses, and reports to support leadership decisions and initiative planning.
• Advise managers, collaborate with operational teams and vendors, communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders, and support continuous improvement training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with limited professional experience.
• Developing professional expertise in continuous improvement, analytics, and business operations, with the ability to work independently on moderately complex issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton 5 days per week and hold authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; certification is required within a defined period if not already obtained.
