Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Define product functions and system-level requirements across mechanical, electrical, engineering, and marketing disciplines.
• Build proof-of-concept prototypes using microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and 3D-printed designs.
• Develop design solutions for thermal and electromechanical consumer products.
• Design, build, and test new products throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Work hands-on in the lab to evaluate, troubleshoot, and improve prototypes and production systems.
• Interpret test results and feed findings into product improvements.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electromechanical systems engineering.
• Experience programming microcontrollers to read sensor data and control motors or LEDs.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling; Creo or SolidWorks preferred.
• Familiarity with 3D printing, injection molding, production processes, and DFM manufacturing techniques.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and the ability to work hands-on in a multidisciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Consumer product, electromechanical device, or small-appliance design and testing experience.
• Machine shop or fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics and test equipment.
• Strong analytical skills, ownership of problem resolution, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
