Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend services in Golang using a modern microservices architecture.
• Deploy and operate distributed services in Kubernetes across AWS, GCP, and Azure, focusing on reliability, observability, and performance.
• Lead projects from 0 to 1 and own the architecture and design of new product features and services.
• Integrate enterprise systems and security protocols, including SSO/IdP providers such as Okta.
• Apply algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networking, concurrency, and distributed-systems expertise to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate across teams and work across the stack where backend services intersect with infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud services and microservices architectures.
• Required professional experience with Golang and proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, networking, concurrent programming, and distributed systems.
• Experience building applications for large enterprises and familiarity with SSO/IdP systems such as Okta.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
