What you will do
- Represent Operations in cross-functional engineering programs from product concept through production launch.
- Coordinate execution across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Test, IT, Facilities, Service, Procurement, and Finance.
- Lead Design for Excellence activities, including manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, testability, supply chain, and quality reviews.
- Own build-readiness activities and checklists for prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and production builds.
- Track supplier readiness, long-lead materials, tooling, NRE expenditures, RFQs, product structures, and engineering changes.
- Identify operational risks, drive mitigation plans, and present readiness status to program reviews and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of technical program management or operations leadership experience in complex hardware product development.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs without direct authority across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and facilities.
- Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, product launches, DFX, BOMs, engineering change management, and configuration or release processes.
- Ability to use cost, schedule, and readiness data for execution and communicate operational risks to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Austin and meet the listed physical requirements, including occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
Nice to have
- Experience in robotics, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, or complex electromechanical products.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management experience.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or APICS certification.
- Experience with ERP, PLM, and program management tools.
