Technical Program Manager (Robotics): Leading hardware programs from architecture and prototyping through validation, industrialization, and production ramp with an accent on electromechanical systems, supply chain readiness, and cross-functional execution. Focus on coordinating mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software milestones, mitigating technical and supply chain risks, and driving DVT/PVT readiness.

Location: On-site in Palo Alto, United States

What you will do

  • Lead hardware development schedules from architecture and prototyping through validation, industrialization, and production ramp.
  • Create and maintain program plans, Gantt charts, action trackers, and status reporting across actuators, electronics, structures, and sensors.
  • Track cost, mass, reliability, and performance metrics while communicating blockers, risks, and progress to leadership.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams around design milestones, integration timelines, and test readiness.
  • Partner with supply chain, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to deliver parts and assemblies on time and to specification.
  • Drive design reviews, change control, BOM accuracy, and DVT/PVT planning across hardware subsystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience with complex hardware products such as robotics, consumer electronics, automotive, or aerospace systems.
  • Demonstrated success shipping physical products from concept through mass production.
  • Strong technical fundamentals across mechanical, electrical, and firmware design discussions.
  • Experience managing electromechanical systems with interdependent motors, PCBAs, sensors, and structural assemblies.
  • Experience with NPI, tooling qualification, PPAP, DVT/PVT, first-article inspections, contract manufacturers, and global suppliers.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time, on-site role within the Operations department.
