Manager, Materials Planning & Logistics – Development Programs (R5252) (Aerospace)

Location: Dallas, Texas; on-site. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead materials planning, build-plan development, production release, and performance KPI management for aircraft development programs.
• Identify long-lead material risks, create recovery schedules, and protect aggressive development milestones.
• Drive engineering change management and develop planning models for prototyping, design iteration, and low-rate initial production.
• Lead planning and logistics readiness for a new greenfield manufacturing facility.
• Design warehouse, stockroom, inventory control, storage, and material-flow processes from receiving through point-of-use consumption.
• Establish standard work and training while driving accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials planning, production control, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supporting complex hardware development programs in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience implementing or scaling materials planning and inventory management processes, including new product introduction and engineering development programs.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain planning methodologies, with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience launching greenfield manufacturing facilities or supporting major facility expansions.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Costpoint, or similar ERP platforms.
• APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, DFARS, government contracting, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Experience supporting production ramp and transition from development to rate manufacturing.
