Staff Network Systems Administrator

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA — hybrid, with 4 days in the office and Fridays remote

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate global network infrastructure across distributed sites.
• Manage Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, Aryaka SD-WAN, Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices, and LAN/WAN architecture.
• Support cloud networking and hybrid connectivity across AWS and Azure.
• Maintain infrastructure through patching, device lifecycle management, and operational monitoring.
• Support IT Engineering, IT Support, EDA, Security, and Cloud teams on network-related initiatives.
• Contribute to zero-trust adoption, VPN modernization, and cross-regional connectivity projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in network administration, IT engineering, or a related role.
• Advanced knowledge of networking principles, routing protocols, switching technologies, network architecture, and security.
• Experience with network management tools, monitoring systems, security platforms, network automation, software-defined networking, and cloud networking.
• Professional networking certification such as CCNP or CCDP is required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, collaboration, and technical leadership abilities.
