Senior Network Administrator

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States; onsite with possibility of hybrid

Salary: $92,225.60–$138,338.40 base salary per year, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits for regular employees working 20+ hours per week.

What you will do

• Monitor and optimize enterprise network performance, availability, and reliability.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, data center, and OT network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and OT network devices.
• Administer firewalls, NAC, SIEM, and VPN solutions while monitoring traffic and logs for threats.
• Manage network upgrades, lifecycle processes, documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and security policies.
• Collaborate with Systems, Applications, and DevOps teams, mentor junior administrators, lead network initiatives, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in network administration.
• Expertise in enterprise network design, implementation, and management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, 802.1X, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, diagnostic tools, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work onsite in Beverly, Massachusetts, with a possibility of hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Aruba/HPE, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or CompTIA certifications.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud networking and security.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba/HPE AirWave, Aruba/HPE ClearPass, and SIEM.
