Senior Staff Network Engineer

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing locations.
• Define network requirements and implement solutions with cross-functional teams, IT leadership, and global network architecture.
• Resolve complex issues involving BGP, SD-WAN, VLANs, Spanning Tree, network security, wireless, DHCP, DNS, and network hardware and software.
• Modernize infrastructure by developing network automation tools and improving end-user experience.
• Monitor network infrastructure, respond to incidents and service requests under SLAs, and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Lead IT projects and maintenance windows while mentoring deployment teams and coordinating with vendors and service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience in network architecture, including routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
• Deep knowledge of network design for small offices and large campuses, DHCP/DNS, IPAM, data center networking, and network readiness assessments.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, HA, VLAN, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, QoS, WAN, Cisco or Arista switches, and WAN routers.
• Proficiency with Git, Ansible, configuration management, and network automation.
• Strong communication, documentation, project management, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution skills; availability to adjust working hours for global projects.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Infoblox.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent technical certification.
