LCMS Product Specialist (LC/MS)

Location: UK-Cheadle; remote work is available. Customer-facing travel is typically up to 50%.

What you will do

• Act as the LC/MS technical and product liaison for customers and internal teams, shaping differentiated solutions and supporting technical close.
• Discover customer needs, support quotes and configurations, and deliver product demonstrations, technical visits, workshops, and presentations.
• Execute in-country product-line strategies, competitive positioning, deal strategies, and growth initiatives for LC/MS.
• Gather customer and market insights and communicate feedback to regional and global stakeholders.
• Develop technical competency for sales teams and partners through product training, positioning, and solution-selling support.
• Maintain forecasts, opportunity tracking, activity reporting, and commercial processes in Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant analytical, scientific, or instrument-industry experience with strong LC/LCMS application exposure.
• Strong understanding of LC/MS workflows and the ability to translate customer needs into solution configurations and value propositions.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex, high-impact customer problems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with sales and supporting functions, and contributing to product launches, customer events, conferences, or workshops.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Triple Quad LC/MS, high-resolution mass spectrometry such as QTOF, or single-quadrupole systems.
