Quality Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Metzingen / Riederich, Germany

What you will do

• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and execute test plans for hardware components, including burn-in and performance tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate new robotic designs and product updates.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers, ensuring the quality of incoming materials.
• Implement statistical process control and process capability studies while resolving manufacturing quality issues.
• Create quality documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and FMEAs, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality management and development environments.
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, control systems, robotics, and programming with Python or C++.
• Experience analyzing and measuring electronic and mechanical components.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English are required.
