Robotics Deployment Engineer (Robotics): Installing, integrating, commissioning, and optimizing AI-powered robotic systems at customer facilities across Europe with an accent on mechanical and electrical integration, system testing, and production readiness. Focus on diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues, coordinating deployment stakeholders, and improving robotic system performance in industrial environments.
Location: On-site in Stuttgart, Germany, with approximately 75% travel across Europe

What you will do
- Lead the installation, integration, testing, validation, and commissioning of AI-powered robotic systems at customer facilities.
- Coordinate deployment workflows with internal engineering teams, contractors, project managers, and customer personnel.
- Install and integrate robotic arms, grippers, sensors, cameras, mobile platforms, cabling, control cabinets, and electrical components.
- Perform mechanical modifications including drilling, tapping, mounting brackets, fixtures, and tooling.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and optimize system performance for production.
- Train and support customer teams, document deployment procedures, and share lessons learned with internal engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience deploying robotic systems, automation equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Experience leading or coordinating technical installations or field deployments.
- Hands-on experience with robotic workcells, automation systems, or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of ROS 2, robotic system architecture, or industrial automation systems, plus proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems; ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts, and willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and familiarity with 6-axis robots, AMRs, or other robotic platforms.
