Land Development Project Manager - Southwest VA

Location: Southwest Virginia, including Verona and Midlothian, United States. Overnight travel may be required.

Salary: $60,000–$100,000 annually, plus potential bonus based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage vendors and contractors developing raw land for homes, model homes, parks, amenities, and common areas.
• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans, specifications, contracts, and as-built documentation.
• Oversee infrastructure installation, lot preparation, landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, signage, drainage, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain project schedules and critical paths, identify delays, and communicate milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional officials, civil engineers, utility consultants, utility companies, subcontractors, and homebuilding teams.
• Support bidding and procurement by preparing scopes, bid packages, quantity calculations, purchase orders, and project budgets.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three years of related experience in civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, or hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Ability to travel overnight and comply with local, state, national, and company regulations.
