Land Development Project Manager

Salary: Starting at $95,000 per year, based on position, experience, and licensure.

What you will do

• Manage commercial, industrial, institutional, mixed-use, and other land development projects.
• Perform technical planning and design for land and site development.
• Design and oversee site planning, grading, entrance plans, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, landscape planning, and assessments.
• Prepare records, construction plans, and environmental permitting applications for agency and municipal review.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Coordinate with municipal officials, engineers, developers, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5–10 years of experience in land development.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• Experience leading teams of engineers and designers.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Critical thinking, self-motivation, and willingness to learn through trial and error.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Landscape Architect (R.L.A.) licensure.
• Project management certification.
• Experience with Civil 3D.
