Engineering Specialist/Sr. Technician, Electrical Engineering (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support the Avionics Engineering team developing the X-BAT aircraft.
• Assist with the design and verification of flight-critical electrical systems and circuit boards.
• Perform benchtop testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, thermal chambers, and related equipment.
• Design basic test fixtures and potentially basic wire harnesses or simple circuit boards.
• Rework circuit boards to component sizes of at least 0402.
• Collaborate across design, verification, procurement, manufacturing, and test activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an electrical engineering laboratory or equivalent environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Experience with multidisciplinary hardware development projects.
• Ability to perform circuit board rework down to at least 0402 components.
• Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes, reliability, high standards, and effective teamwork.
• Ability to obtain an S//SAR-level security clearance is desired.
