What you will do

• Perform board-level and component-level analysis and troubleshooting of avionics and electronic systems.
• Conduct Fourier analysis, FFT/spectral analysis, and signal integrity evaluations to diagnose complex and intermittent faults.
• Validate electronic components, circuits, and assemblies for performance, reliability, and specification compliance.
• Prepare technical findings, measurements, root cause analyses, and recommendations for design engineers.
• Review component selections and design changes before formal engineering handoff.
• Support root cause corrective action processes and collaborate with maintenance and design teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on avionics or electronics troubleshooting and repair experience, focused on board-level and component-level diagnostics.
• Demonstrated expertise in board-level Fourier analysis and advanced signal analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and related diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of analog and digital circuits, RF systems, power electronics, and avionics architectures.
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Authorization to work in the United States without export-license sponsorship may be required because the role can involve EAR- and ITAR-controlled information.

Nice to have

• AS or AAS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Avionics or electrical laboratory testing experience.
• Experience supporting maintenance and engineering/design teams in an aviation environment.
• Aircraft modification or STC project experience.
