Senior Global Accounting Specialist & IFRS Specialist (m/f/n)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid

Salary: from €2,900 gross per month, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% of the base salary paid during the evaluation period.

What you will do

• Prepare group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Supervise the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of accounting processes across worldwide group entities.
• Develop and maintain consistent group accounting policies and procedures, with a focus on IFRS 15.
• Produce analytical reviews and participate in monthly group financial reporting.
• Provide IFRS-based advice and support to finance departments on accounting questions and decisions.
• Cooperate with external group auditors and accounting consultants and participate in global accounting projects.

Requirements

• University degree or diploma in Finance and Accounting.
• Completed or ongoing accounting certification such as DipIFR or ACCA.
• Fluent English is required, with a native or very good level of written and spoken English.
• At least 6 years of experience in IFRS accounting; IFRS 15 experience is preferred.
• Experience with global ERP, group consolidation, and reporting systems.
• Excellent Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting software principles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, organization, judgment, and time management.
