TL;DR

Senior Business Control Officer (Fintech): Enabling effective non-financial risk management across ING Analytics by driving risk identification, strengthening the control environment, and coordinating key risk deliverables. Location: Bratislava (Hybrid)

Salary: 3,443 EUR/month (minimum)

What you will do

  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational and compliance risks within the organization’s risk appetite.
  • Implement and monitor entity-level Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
  • Coordinate Key Control Monitoring (KCM) activities, including planning, reporting, and evidence review.
  • Provide expert advice on non-financial risk matters to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into business processes.
  • Prepare and present scope of work for NFRC meetings and lead internal BCO initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in operational risk management or 1st line control execution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management within banking, technology, cybersecurity, or AI sectors.
  • Strong analytical thinking and judgment capabilities for assessing specific risks.
  • Proven experience managing complex stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
