Senior Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Facilities Technician

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, and complete minor repairs across HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other building systems.
• Operate and monitor site systems while following preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate specialist maintenance, repairs, and project work with external vendors and contractors.
• Monitor facilities requests, respond to employee needs, and maintain service-focused communication with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain inspection, repair, and audit records and support compliance with safety regulations, site procedures, and company policies.
• Support emergency response for power outages, water leaks, and equipment failures, including occasional after-hours or weekend on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification and at least 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience in a technical, manufacturing, or laboratory environment, including practical repairs using hand tools and appropriate procedures.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, technical specifications, and operating procedures.
• Experience with facilities management software, CMMS systems, and Google and Microsoft workplace platforms.
• Safety-first approach, including hazard recognition, appropriate PPE use, and compliance with safety requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, overhead work, and carrying equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience in project coordination or analytical problem solving.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
