Field Service Technician (Industrial Tooling)

Location: On-site in the United States, supporting the East region; candidates ideally reside in North Carolina. Travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally.

What you will do

• Provide onsite technical support as a subject matter expert for hirify.global tools and assembly systems.
• Perform installations, commissioning, preventive maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, programming, and repairs.
• Build customer relationships, resolve equipment issues, and reinforce correct operating practices.
• Coordinate service schedules, travel, accommodations, emergency field repairs, and customer communication.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, capture service costs, and support cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency with IT, Microsoft Office, networking, or wireless communications.
• Strong customer service, communication, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow a flexible schedule, travel extensively, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid United States driver’s license required.
