Product Owner - Workplace Services Technology Solutions (AI)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; site-based with 3+ days (60%+) per week in a hirify.global office or work location

Salary: $141,500–$224,000 annually; for specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, $176,000–$264,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and continuous improvement of workplace and facilities technology solutions.
• Own platforms including IWMS, CMMS, office reservation, facility service request, managed print, smart building, and AI-enabled workplace systems.
• Lead requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, Agile planning, testing, release management, integrations, and deployments.
• Develop AI, automation, machine learning, predictive analytics, dashboards, and reporting for workplace operations.
• Standardize facilities processes across sites, improving space planning, occupancy tracking, maintenance, asset management, and service delivery.
• Coordinate with Workplace Services, Real Estate, Security, EHS, IT, vendors, and implementation partners while leading adoption and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• More than 3 years of experience supporting Facilities, Real Estate, Workplace Services, or related business areas.
• Experience managing enterprise software platforms, documenting business requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaborator leadership skills, with experience working across Facilities, IT, Security, and external vendors.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MRI Manhattan IWMS, Eptura/Condeco/Engage, Accruent CMMS, or PrinterLogic.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of workplace analytics, occupancy planning, advanced building technologies, secure printing, and print governance.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
