Senior UX/UI Designer (IoT)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $140K–$165K annually

What you will do

• Design end-to-end experiences for mobile apps and connected devices, including setup, control, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Translate complex networking and IoT functionality into clear, intuitive user flows.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI designs, and detailed specifications.
• Apply and contribute to the design system across multiple product lines.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and global teams in the US and China.
• Use user insights, data, and usability feedback to improve designs across multiple projects.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of UX/UI design experience and a strong portfolio of shipped mobile or digital products.
• Strong foundations in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and end-to-end product experience design.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Experience working closely with product managers and engineers.
• Must work on-site in Irvine, California, United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with smart home, networking, or IoT products.
• Experience designing across hardware and software ecosystems.
• Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI frameworks.
• Experience with global or distributed teams, onboarding flows, and data-informed design.
