Location: Remote within approved U.S. hiring hubs: DC/Maryland/Virginia; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC; Denver/Colorado Springs, CO; or Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. U.S. citizenship is required.
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, plus potential equity awards and discretionary bonuses.

What you will do
- Design interfaces, workflows, functional prototypes, and high-fidelity experiences for classified defense operations.
- Drive prompt-to-prototype workflows using Claude Design, Claude Code, and Figma.
- Own the user experience for deployment, configuration, and accreditation workflows.
- Conduct interviews, usability testing, and surveys with mission operators and software providers.
- Translate complex technical and compliance requirements into intuitive, accessible user journeys.
- Maintain and scale the design system while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and domain experts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or UI Designer for complex web applications or SaaS products.
- Proficiency with Claude Design, Claude Code, and Figma for prompt-to-prototype workflows and design systems.
- Experience working with AI-assisted engineering teams in fast-paced agile environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating design process, problem-solving, and simplification of complex technical workflows.
- Experience with user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and user-centered design.
- Familiarity with ATO, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or similar government compliance and accreditation frameworks.
