HSE Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Ocilla, Georgia, US; onsite work across a chemical plant, warehouse, and office

What you will do

• Maintain a daily HSE presence on the plant and warehouse work floor.
• Provide technical support for occupational health and safety, process safety, and environmental protection.
• Inspect and evaluate workplace conditions for compliance with company standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Identify hazards through monitoring programs, audits, and workplace analysis.
• Implement corrective actions, suspend operations when necessary, and develop pollution prevention measures.
• Deliver safety and environmental training for new employees and temporary workers, and implement ergonomic solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related discipline is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety or a related field.
• Proficient computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and communicate confidently with managers, leaders, and production employees.
• Ability to sit and walk frequently, stand, bend, climb, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• CSP, CHMM, or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification.
