Mechanical Engineering Intern (Robotics): Supporting the production team with manufacturing drawings, documentation, and design optimization for robotic systems. Focus on applying CAD skills and mechatronic knowledge to improve manufacturing data accuracy and design efficiency.

Location: On-site in Metzingen / Riederich, Germany

What you will do

Create and update basic manufacturing drawings alongside the production team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing data.
Develop clear, well-structured documentation and project overviews.
Contribute to projects focused on optimizing robot design with fresh ideas.

Requirements

Advanced studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
Basic understanding of mechatronic systems and common manufacturing methods.
Experience with 3D CAD and PLM software, preferably SolidWorks and Creo.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
German and English proficiency (written and spoken).
Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

Basic manual skills, ideally gained through a technical apprenticeship.
