What you will do

• Design new robotic and mechatronic systems for highly constrained vacuum and cryogenic environments.
• Perform mechanical design and optimization of precision components and asshirify.globalies using CAD software.
• Manage manufacturing activities through the in-house workshop and external suppliers.
• Execute mechanical asshirify.globaly, integration, and commissioning of new instruments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians across international research facilities.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with SolidWorks, including simulation and analysis tools.
• Proven experience designing systems for vacuum and cryogenic environments.
• Deep understanding of precision mechanical design, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing.
• English: Good communication skills required.
• French: Good working knowledge required.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Grenoble, France.

Nice to have

• Experience in prototype development and asshirify.globaly.

• Knowledge of supplier management and manufacturing processes.
