Solutions Engineer - Enterprise - NYC

Location: Remote, but residence in the surrounding New York City area is required; based in US - NJ - Home Office.

Base salary: $112,000–$182,000 annually. Estimated on-target earnings including bonus: $160,000–$260,000 annually.

What you will do

• Assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
• Identify opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services technologies.
• Build technical relationhirify.globalps with OEMs and strategic partners while maintaining current product knowledge.
• Train sales teams and customers on products, services, technical selling, and technology trends.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline and engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role and a completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• Experience with complex data center sales opportunities and designing hybrid cloud, hyper-converged, software-defined data center, IaaS/PaaS, automation, containerization, and data center management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, backup and recovery, data protection, mirroring, and clustering solutions.
• Expertise with mainstream technologies including Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events.
