Implementation Engineer

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $140K–$200K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trial, new, and existing customers.
• Support engineering teams with platform adoption, build workflow integration, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving build systems, integrations, and customer environments.
• Partner with Engineering to track bugs, performance regressions, and product feedback.
• Create and maintain internal and external technical documentation.
• Represent hirify.global in forums, Slack, GitHub, conferences, and other developer communities while improving operational tooling and automation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Comfort working in Linux/Unix environments and with tools such as Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud provider, including AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls, with experience contributing to technical documentation or knowledge bases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel or Buck/Buck2.
• Experience working with asynchronous communication and distributed teams.
